Clear Water Gem Co. was born from a passion for discovering Australia's most beautiful gemstones. Since the early 2000s, business founder, Chris, has been hand-digging stones from locations across the country, including the renowned Gemfields of Central Queensland. Each stone in our collection has unparalleled providence, ethically sourced from our hands to yours, each stone reflects over 25 years of adventure, travel and hard work. We believe in preserving the natural beauty of every gem through careful, artisanal craftsmanship rather than commercial mining practices. Today, we're proud to share this dedication to quality and authenticity with the world, and to pass our love of gemstones on to the next generation. This is a small family business built around passion, adventure and a desire to share the beauty of Australian gems.

Clear Water Gem Co. draws its name from cherished memories of summer afternoons spent exploring the pristine creeks and streams of Northern New South Wales—a world apart from the ancient, boulder-laden riverbeds buried beneath Central Queensland's red earth. Yet within both landscapes lie gemstones of remarkable colour and clarity, waiting to be discovered. 

Gemstones are naturally carried through ancient waterways and exposed by erosion, a process we respect through ethical, hand-harvesting practices. Each stone in our collection reflects this journey—shaped by nature over millennia, then carefully cut to showcase its unique beauty.

But our mission extends beyond gemstones. We recognise that while water reveals the treasures we share, access to clean drinking water remains a life-or-death necessity for many communities worldwide.
